USP Grade Sodium Bentonite Clay Powder

Our USP grade Sodium Bentonite clay, also referred to as Montmorillonite, is quarry sourced from naturally occurring volcanic ash sediments here in the United States and left untreated. It is NSP certified and manufactured to ANSI/NSF 60 standards.

Our clay can be used externally as a poultice, mud pack, or in skin care recipes. Indigenous cultures have long used Bentonite clay internally for a multitude of conditions, though ours is sold for external use only. If kept dry, clay can be stored indefinitely.

Bags contain one cup (which is approximately 40 teaspoons) of bentonite clay. We recommend mixing when needed by mixing 3/4 teaspoon clay with 1 ounce of distilled water. At this ratio you’ll get about 53 cups of liquid bentonite which is almost 3.5 gallons. Compare this to premixed Bentonite Clays like Sonne’s #7 (also labeled Springreen #77) Detoxificant Clay and you’ll see what incredible value this is.
