Youâ€™ve been told most of your life that the sun is bad. Youâ€™ve been told sunscreen should be applied â€œgenerouslyâ€ every time you go out in the sun. Youâ€™ve been told that skin cancer is caused by too much sun and too little sunblock. Unfortunately these â€œtruthsâ€ are grossly misleading. Sunlight is absolutely critical to your health in ways we still donâ€™t fully understand.
